Add software
Basic €0 — Pro €69 per track box/month
Billed per track box, never per asset. Basic with real-time tracking is always included for free.
Apply RFID tags
€0.45–0.75 per unit, depending on volume
A one-off purchase. Passive tags with no battery — no maintenance, no charging, no running costs.

FAQ
Common questions about pricing.
locantra Basic is free of charge and includes real-time location tracking with one user account. locantra Pro expands on this with full location history, unlimited users and assets, geofencing, alerts, reports, and ERP integration.
Per track box, monthly: €69 per box for locantra Pro. There is a cost cap of €299/month — you never pay more, no matter how many boxes run. The number of your assets and users does not affect the software price. locantra Basic (real-time tracking, 1 user) is free forever.
Both options are fully featured: identical hardware, identical software. Since the minimum rental term is 36 months, purchasing works out cheaper when calculated over the full term. Renting is worthwhile especially if you want to avoid large one-time payments or don't want to tie up capital – data connection, warranty, support, and a replacement device are all automatically included throughout. At the end of the term, there's also the option to take ownership of the box via a lease-to-own arrangement for a residual value of €250.
When buying: the software (if Pro). In year 1 the data connection and warranty are included in the purchase price; from year 2 the service contract covers this (€25/box/month, a fixed part of the purchase model) — including support and extended warranty. When renting: the monthly rate (data connection included) plus software. You need no SIM cards and no mobile contract of your own. Tags are a one-off purchase per asset — replaced only if damaged or lost.
On our own servers in Germany, processed in compliance with the GDPR, under a German contract — terms and invoice in EUR, net 30 days.
locantra deliberately avoids permanently installed infrastructure. The mobile, solar-powered track boxes are simply mounted and started — no cabling, no construction work, no calibration. That is why there is also no setup or installation fee.
